Tanya has always had a heart for children.  As a teenager with a sister almost 10 years younger, her childhood home was always filled with the neighborhood children.  Little did she know that house full of children was the way the Lord was preparing her to work with children.  He taught her to understand their needs, their imagination, innocence and need for fun!  A favorite memory was a time when she babysat a three year old and her seven year old sister came along.  She asked each one simple questions like, "Why are leaves green?  What are clouds made of?  How big is the ocean?"  The three year old's answer was so innocent and creative.  Her seven year old sister's answer was more accurate.  Of course the three year old wanted to know who was right and when she answered they both were, the three year old screamed with excitement!  It was then that she learned what precious and tender hearts children have.  She learned the importance of encouraging them, listening to them, loving them where they are, teaching them in simple ways and to let them know they are important.

In 2006, she and her husband Trey attended the Father Loves You conference where they received a deeper revelation of the Father's love through teachings from John and Carol Arnott, the late Jack Frost, Ed Piorek and James and Denise Jordan.  In 2010, she along with Anna Eaton, attended the Children's Leaders Transformation Conference at Bethel Church in Redding, CA.  A favorite topic was their four core values:  God is in a good mood; All things are possible with God; Jesus' blood paid for everything; I am important.  She learned children are fireballs for the Lord and to "get ready" because when children are teamed together with the Holy Spirit, great things WILL happen.

She and her husband Trey have two little blessings.  Last year the Lord fulfilled a desire of her heart by supernaturally providing a way for her to stay home with them.  Her days are full loving all over her preschool aged son and toddler aged daughter, making what seems like thousands of jelly sandwiches, pouring cups of milk, reading picture books, making crafts, playing, playing, playing and picking up toys again and again and again...  all for the glory of God.
